Sunday/Monday Posts - December 31st and January 1st

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy New Year!

2018 is almost here.  It's hard to believe, but true.  We've been spending the last week of 2017 freezing. Temperatures have been crazy low...single digits.  I can't seem to get warm.  We even had some snow today.  Not much, maybe three inches.  The good thing is that it's putting me in a good reading mood.  I've been playing catch up.  I'm behind on writing reviews though.  I'll do that soon.  I want to do it before January 1st so I have to hurry.  LOL  I want to start off the year fresh.  I actually completed my Goodreads challenge.  I even completed all reading challenges I signed up for this year except for one.  That's not bad.

TV has been light this week since my shows on are break until January.  That gave me time to finish the final season of Longmire on Netflix.  I'm going to miss that show.  Maybe someday I'll catch up on reading the books.

I hope you all have a great New Year's Eve and Day and a wonderful 2018!

Yvonne

  5. Happy New Year! You have some tempting books to read. Cozies are perfect for cold weather...and hot weather, too.

I loved Longmire...and I'm glad that they wrapped up some loose ends, but I will miss the show. I guess we can watch it all over again.

Enjoy your week! Thanks for visiting my blog.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
